After speaking with the manager he recited 'I'm sorry but that offer is no longer available.' When I said the offer is still being advertised, he quickly responded that Marketing was 'working in it.' While I really didn't need the beverage or popcorn, it was the principle of their actions. I was directed to Club Palms where one of the managers was on the phone and she rudely told another employee to get the other manager.

At this point I asked to speak with a manager.

Trying to be patient and understanding, I realize that this employee is only the 'messenger' with no authority to give us the popcorn and beverage. The employee shared that the advertisement was no longer valid and the $8 was only for the movie. After purchasing our tickets I inquired about the beverage & popcorn. Last week my son & I specifically drove to this theater because of the special price. On an external wall near the entrance of the Palms/ Brenden Theaters, there is an advertisement promoting $8 Thursday's that included 1 ticket, 1 beverage, & 1 popcorn.
